Off the Beaten Path: JA. Pequeño

ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) – Jacob Alejandro, a coffee shop in Troy, recently opened a second location on Madison Avenue in Albany. JA. Pequeño is a “small taste” of what their flagship location in the Collar City offers.

In 2023, the husband and husband team told NEWS10 that passion was the perfect blend for their small business specializing in coffee called Jacob Alejandro. The coffee shop believes you don’t have to be in a big city to enjoy outstanding coffee.

Alejandro grew up in Guatemala, but moved to the United States more than a decade ago. He wasn’t looking for love, but when Jacob came along it surprised him a latte.

To coincide with Cinco De Mayo, they’re offering a monthly special called the “Viva Cold Brew.” It is made with Mexican canela, hibiscus flowers, a dash of vanilla bean and cold brew. JA. Pequeño is located on 466 Madison Avenue in Albany. The store is open seven days a week.
