    ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Happy Monday! According to Meteorologist Matt Mackie, we can expect temperatures in the mid to upper 60s, with some spotty sprinkles or showers throughout the day.

    A teenager is recovering after being seriously injured in a crash on Hudson Avenue. The teen was walking when a dirt bike crashed into them, causing a head injury and a fractured leg. Also, Vermont State Police are investigating after a suspect drove their car into a convenience store and allegedly attempted to steal an ATM.     1. Dirt bike crash breaks bone on Hudson Avenue, per Albany police

    The Albany Police Department said that officers are investigating after a dirt bike collided with a pedestrian on Hudson Avenue. They said that a teen has a serious head injury and a fractured leg because of the crash.

    2. VSP: Suspect tries to steal ATM after driving into store

    The Vermont State Police are asking the public for help after they say a suspect drove their truck into a Jiffy Mart and tried to steal an ATM. Police say this happened around 4:33 a.m. Thursday.

    3. Rapp Road near Crossgates closing for 2 weeks

    Construction will close a section of Rapp Road in Guilderland for two weeks starting Monday, April 29. An official notification from the town said the portion from Crossgates Mall and Gipp Roads needs to be realigned to connect properly with Crossgates Mall Road.

    4. Saint Rose adjunct faculty demand severance pay

    Adjunct faculty and staff at the College of Saint Rose are demanding severance pay when the College shuts down. Some professors tell NEWS10’s Anthony Krolikowski there is currently no help to be given to them after the spring semester and summer classes end.

    5. Albany FireWolves win first-ever playoff game behind stellar showing from goalie Doug Jamieson

    How quickly things can change. A year ago at this time, all Albany FireWolves head coach Glenn Clark could do was watch the National Lacrosse League playoffs from afar in the wake of a 3-15 season and last-place finish. Fast forward to Sunday night, and Clark, guiding the youngest team in the league, said he’d be going home to enjoy a glass of wine…to celebrate his team reaching the NLL semifinals.
