    Bobby Pulido to attend at 12th annual Watermelon Festival

    ALAMO, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — The City of Alamo is hosting its 12th Annual Watermelon Festival with special guest Bobby Pulido.

    The festival will take place from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, May 11 at the Alamo Sports Complex, located at 600 East Ridge Road.

    Well-known artist, Bobby Pulido, took to social media to announce his participation in the event.

    Region One highlights Mental Health Awareness Month

    “It will be a day filled with joy and fun that you don’t want to miss,” Pulido said.

    Various artists will be performing at the event such as Lucky Joe, Mesteno, The Ybarra Boyz, Cheyenne and Chris Marshall.

    The Watermelon Festival will also include a BBQ cookoff, where participants can compete to become the BBQ Champion.

    The festival is free and open for all ages, there will be live music, a beer garden, food, crafts and kiddie rides.
