Half the CSRA was very wet today, and the other half was nearly completely dry! We had some flood alerts earlier, with our southwestern counties reaching 2-5″ of rain over the past two days. There were also some strong storms with gusty winds and frequent lightning. The entire CSRA was cloudy this weekend with temperatures a bit cooler than normal.
Garden show is ‘educational tool’ to Aiken neighbors
AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A garden show in Aiken is bringing some of Aiken’s most beautiful gardens and plants to life. The Aiken Garden Show only comes every other year. “We have six beautiful gardens, we have over 20 vendors and then we have a juried flower show, which means they’ve been judged, and they can see all that and buy a ticket to see the gardens,” said Peggy Thome, president of Aiken Council of Garden Clubs.
