Ashland outlasts Hayward 41-34, hosts unbeaten Northwestern
The Ashland Oredockers football team closed homecoming week on a high note, holding off a relentless Hayward squad for a 41-34 victory Oct. 2 at Oredocker Stadium. LSC pauses firefighting program due to PFAS contamination at training site
DULUTH, Minn. (KQDS-TV) – Lake Superior College is pausing its firefighting program after over 30 years of training the next generation of firefighters. In 2023, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency tested water and soil near LSC’s Emergency Response Training Center (ERTC) in Gary-New Duluth and found PFAS contaminants at the site.
