ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- One person was injured and another arrested early Sunday morning at the Byrne Dairy on Elmira's Southside. Elmira Police Department arrived at 528 Pennsylvania Avenue, the site of the Byrne Dairy, and they found one adult male victim with several lacerations to the head and facial area.

A false alarm was raised in Mansfield when a social media post about a missing child made rounds, but local law enforcement stepped in to clarify the situation. The Mansfield Police Department confirmed that the circulating message about a lost child on Mansfield Marketplace was indeed a hoax. According to the department, there is no active case involving a lost child and the department is not searching for any missing minors in connection to that report.
