    Wake-Up Weather: weather alert day for the big country with numerous to scattered storms possible

    Summary: Partly sunny sky as you take that first step out the door, we will be seeing temperatures into the mix of the 80s across the region. We’ll keep it warm for today, humid as you step out the door and then heading into later this evening we continue to monitor the dry line for a chance at some thunderstorms, potentially strong to severe heading into the overnight hours of early Thursday morning. Thursday, we anticipate another warmer day into the mix of the low 90°s, winds will be a little bit more tranquil with a chance for storms in our northern counties. Thursday night we see a cold front move through will keep temperature throughout the rest of the weekend into the mix of the 80°s with storm chances still possible Saturday -Sunday heading into Cinco de Mayo with breezy winds. Sunday and Monday temperatures climb heading into the back half of next week as a dry line approaches.

    Today: Partly sunny with possible severe storms late in the evening into the overnight. High Temperature: 85° Winds: S 15 G 25 MPH

    Tonight: Mostly cloudy with thunderstorms ending by early evening. Low Temperature: 64° Winds: SSE 10-15 G 25 MPH
