Abilene man accused of sharing intimate videos with victim’s child family member

ABILENE, Texas ( KTAB/KRBC ) – An Abilene man accused of sharing intimate videos of a victim with her child family member has been arrested.

Fernando Caballero was taken into custody on a warrant for Publish Intimate Visual Material Saturday in connection to an incident that happened in December 2023.

Court documents state the adult victim’s child family member came forward and reported she had received an inappropriate video on Facebook messenger from Caballero, showing him engaged in sexual activity with the adult victim.

The adult victim told detectives, “she was unaware of the video being recorded and she did not give him permission to send the tape to anyone,” according to the documents.

Caballero now remains held in the Taylor County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
