All about Cole: Playing baseball and savoring Mexico beaches

Tell something about you that most people don't know.

I’m pretty good at Ping-Pong. My dad got us a Ping-Pong table for Christmas one year and my brother and I play all the time and have gotten pretty good.

If you could have any superpower, what would you like it to be?

I think the ability to fly would be very cool.

What has been your favorite vacation?

My favorite has been going to Cancun with my family and with my friend's family. Cancun is fun because I love the beach and I love the food in Mexico.

What do you consider to be the world's greatest invention?

Baseball, because I love it. I love baseball because of the competition and the people you meet along the way.

Winning games, team dinners highlight season

What has been your favorite high school baseball memory?

Game-wise would be beating Vista Ridge to advance in the playoffs last year. But the team dinners after the games and on Sundays are great memories.

Do you have any pregame rituals?

I always warm up the exact same way. I feel like it gets my body used to the routine and keeps me consistent.

Do you have plans after you graduate?

I am playing baseball at Abilene Christian University. I am super excited for ACU because I love the coaches and the program they run and I love the school.

What is the most difficult part of the game?

The most difficult part of the game is pitching in a slump. The hardest thing in baseball is pitching when you are having a hard time finding the strike zone and you are trying to get back in your rhythm and compete.

Dream dinner: including a little piece of Denver

If you could have dinner with any four people in the history of the world, who would they be?

I would choose Nolan Ryan, Zach Bryan, LeBron James and Von Miller.

Von Miller?

I picked Von Miller because I grew up a Broncos fan and he was my favorite player.
