    Area athletes place at Abbotsford meet

    Chequamegon senior Autumn Michalski continues winning and breaking her own records in the process. She joined other teammates with outstanding performances along with those of Prentice and Rib Lake at the Abbotsford High School meet on April 29.

    GIRLS

    Michalski won both the 800 meter run, breaking her own record with a time of 2:27.58. Her qualifying time was 2:12.13. Abby Schuetz of Prentice finished sixth.

    Michalski also won the 3,200 meter run with a time of 10:45.70. Teammate Abigail Humphrey placed third with 14:35.14.

    Michalski also competed in the 4x800 meter relay where Chequamegon placed second with a time of 12:02.27. The runners included Paige Drymalski, Abigail Humphrey, Autumn Michalski and Carla Akriba-Rodriguez.

    Prentice won the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 11:56.24. The runners included Kayla Gillett, Kylie Orysen, Abby Schuetz and Kylee Suess.

    Olivia Lopez, of Rib Lake placed first in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.86. Teammate Anna Martin placed 12th.

    Tatyanna Tesmer, of Chequamegon placed ninth. Prentice runners included Rhiannan Swanson, 10th; Kinlee Wear, 11th; Madison Holm, 13th; Breanna Swan, 14th; and Rayne Klinger, 15th.

    Lopez won the long jump with 15-11.75. Her teammate Maddie Rademacher was fourth; Emma Tlusty, 10th; and Anna Martin, 23rd.

    The Prentice athletes included Kayla Gillett, 12th; Breanna Swan, 22nd; Rayne Klinger, 24th; Madison Holm, 25th; and Rhiannan Swanson, 26th. The Chequamegon athletes included Delaney Hanson, 13th; Mallory Smith, 15th; and Ella Weinberger, 21st.

    Lopez was second in the triple jump behind Rachel Burke, of Edgar. Kayla Gillett, of Prentice, was ninth, and teammate Rhiannan Swanson was 11th. The three Chequamegon jumpers were Ella Weinberger, 12th; Mallory Smith, 15th; and Audrina Damrow, 16th.

    Lopez placed third in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:11.09. Bethany Pilgrim, of Stanley-Boyd was first with 1:05.84.

    Ava Ford, of Athens won the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.34. The Chequamegon runners included Delaney Hanson and Nathalie Schmidt in 12th and 13th. The Prentice runners included Madison Holm, 14th; Rayne Klinger, 16th; Aiyaunna Marcus, 17th; and Chloe Bittner, 18th. Anna Martin, of Rib Lake, was 15th.

    Azul Diaz, of Abbotsford, won the 1,600 meter run with a time of 5:54.77. Aiyaunna Marcus, of Prentice, was seventh.

    Abbotsford won the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 52.95.

    Chequamegon placed fourth with 1:02.56. The Eagles runners were Delaney Hanson, Tatyanna Tesmer, Ella Weinberger and Nathalie Schmidt.

    Abbotsford won the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:52.42. Chequamegon placed fourth with 2:12.83. The Eagles runners were Delaney Hanson, Nathalie Schmidt, Clare Yunk and Mallory Smith.

    Edgar won the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:55.19. Prentice placed third with 5:19.68. The Buccaneer runners were Abby Schuetz, Kylie Orysen, Breanna Swan and Kylee Suess.

    Chequamegon was fourth with 6:06.69. The Eagle runners were Audrina Damrow, Paige Drymalski, Carla Akriba-Rodriguez and Leelan Carroll.

    Lula Chwala, of Stanley-Boyd, won the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.89.

    Emma Tlusty, of Rib Lake was second with 18.45. teammate Isabelle Gumz was fifth, while Audrina Damrow, of Chequamegon was eighth and Kinlee Wear, of Prentice was ninth.

    Lula Chwala, of Stanley-Boyd won the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 52.40.

    Isabelle Gumz, of Rib Lake was second with 54.71. teammate Emma Tlusty was fifth, and Audrina Damrow, of Chequamegon was sixth.

    Sydney Falteisek, of Abbotsford, won the girls high jump. Ella Weinberger, of Chequamegon, placed seventh.

    Athens won the pole vault with Malaina Telschow, Ava Ford, Terah Schreiner and Grace Schreiner taking all four top spots.

    Kyra Anderson, of Edgar, won the discus throw. Isabelle Gumz, of Rib Lake was eighth. Teammates Coralee Glenzer and Camryn Glenzer tied for 13th, while teammate Tessa Krause was 21st, and Emma Tlusty was 23rd.

    Bella Taylor, of Chequamegon, was 16th. Teammate Kalaniva Salvador was 18th.

    Lauren Geiger, of Prentice, was 17th. Teammate Chloe Bittner was 24th.

    Sy' Rih Hartwig, of Athens, won the shot put.

    For Rib Lake, Isabelle Gumz was fourth, Tessa Krause was sixth, Camryn Glenzer was 12th, and Coralee Glenzer was 15th. Lauren Geiger, of Prentice, was 14th. Bella Taylor, of Chequamegon, was 19th, and teammate Kalaniva Salvador was 20th.

    Abbotsford placed first in the women's team rankings followed by Stanley-Boyd, Edgar, Rib Lake, Athens, Chequamegon and Prentice.

    BOYS

    Jarrett Heckendorf, of Chequamegon, won the 400 meter dash with a time of 53.56.

    Matthew Schmidt, of Prentice was second with 53.78. Riley Johnson, of Rib Lake, finished 15th.

    Heckendorf went on to finish second in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:18.17, behind Lucas Walker, of Stanley-Boyd who finished first with 2:05.13. Chequamegon teammate Cooper Michalski placed eighth. Rib Lake runners included Elijah Scott, fourth; Henry Regier, fifth; Truman Smith, seventh; and Connor Highfill, 12th.

    Robert Schienebeck, of Chequamegon, won the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 17.27. Teammate RJ Salvador was fifth, Winter Edberg was sixth.

    Schienebeck was second in the 300 meter hurdles with 43.87. Tucker Streit, of Edgar, won with a time of 41.91. Eagle teammate RJ Salvador was sixth and Winter Edberg was seventh.

    Chequamegon senior AJ Morgan won the discus throw with a 131-07. Teammate Greg Morgan was third with 123-09. Other Chequamegon athletes included Jeremiah Miguel, 11th; Ian Schloer, 21st; and Evan Carlson, 26th.

    For Rib Lake, the athletes included Jed Henderson, 17th; Isaiah Hubbard, 19th; Riley Johnson, 27th; and Clinton Peterson, 28th. Michael Bant, of Prentice, was 23rd.

    Morgan was second in the shot put with a throw of 42-09.00. Karter Butt, of Edgar, won with 43-10.00. Eagles teammate Greg Morgan was 12th, Ian Schloer was 23rd, and Evan Carlson was 26th. Michael Bant, of Prentice was 19th. Isaiah Hubbard, of Rib Lake, was 28th and teammate Clinton Peterson was 29th.

    Kaleb Scott, of Rib Lake won the 200 meter run with a time of 10:43.91. Teammate Jack Regier was second with 11:41.71. Chequamegon runners included Jayden Oscar, fourth; Austin Hoffman, fifth; and Zac Roberts, sixth.

    Jed Henderson, of Rib Lake, won the high jump. For Chequamegon, Jarrett Heckendorf was fourth, Cooper Michalski was fifth, and RJ Salvador was eighth.

    Rib Lake won the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 9:19.74. The runners included Henry Regier, Jack Regier, Kaleb Scott, Elijah Scott and Connor Highfill.

    Chequamegon placed fourth with a time of 10:01.38. The runners were Austin Hoffman, Zac Roberts, Cooper Michalski and Jayden Oscar.

    Madden Mahr, of Stanley-Boyd won the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.16. Matthew Schmidt, of Prentice was third with 24.72.

    Schmidt also placed second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.08. Teammate Michael Bant was 27th. Austin Schreiber, of Edgar, won with 11.50.

    For Chequamegon, Judah Johnson was eighth and Jeremiah Miguel was 10th. For Rib Lake, Demetrio Garelli was 14th, Gus Zuleger was 18th and Ryley Schatz was 28th.

    Chequamegon runners included Harland Kasowicz, sixth; Devin Adams-Dunn, seventh; and Jackson Ernst, 11th. Rib Lake runners were Demetrio Garelli, 18th; Jed Henderson, 19th; Riley Johnson, 23rd; Isaiah Hubbard, 25th; and Ryley Schatz, 28th.

    Stanley-Boyd won the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 44.13. Chequamegon placed fourth with 50.51. The Eagles runners were Jackson Ernst, Judah Johnson, Harland Kasowicz and Jeremiah Miguel.

    Rib Lake was fifth with 51.96. The runners were Demetrio Garelli, Seamus Highfill, Isaiah Hubbard and Gus Zuleger.

    Stanley-Boyd won the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:31.98. Chequamegon placed fourth with 1:42.57. The Eagle runners were Judah Johnson, Harland Kasowicz, Devin Adams-Dunn and Robert Schienebeck.

    Edgar won the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:35.08. Chequamegon was fourth with 4:13.18. The Eagle runners were Jarrett Heckendorf, Jeremiah Miguel, Jackson Ernst and Cooper Michalski.

    The Chequamegon B team placed sixth with runners Lucas Walker, Noah Siegmann, Norson Rodriguez and Harrison Graceffa.

    Lucas Walker, of Stanley-Boyd, won the 1,600 meter run with a time of 4:36.86. Henry Regier, of Rib Lake was third with 5:07.34, while teammate Truman Smith was fifth, and Connor Highfill was ninth.

    Jayden Oscar, of Chequamegon was seventh. Teammate Austin Hoffman was ninth.

    Ryan Peel, of Athens, won the pole vault. Winter Edberg, of Chequamegon, placed ninth.

    Madden Mahr, of Stanley-Boyd, won the long jump. Matthew Schmidt, of Prentice was fourth.

    Jackson Ernst, of Chequamegon, was 10th. Teammate Devin Adams-Dunn was 12th; Judah Johnson was 14th; and Noah Siegmann was 21st.

    Gus Zuleger, of Rib Lake, was 11th. Teammate Riley Johnson was 17th, and Seamus Highfill was 20th.

    Teegan Streit, of Edgar, won the triple jump. Seamus Highfill, of Rib Lake, was seventh, and teammate Gus Zuleger was eighth. Zac Roberts, of Chequamegon, was ninth, and teammate RJ Salvador was 10th.

    Stanley-Boyd placed first in the men's team rankings, followed by Edgar, Chequamegon, Abbotsford, Rib Lake, Prentice and Athens.
