CBS has revealed the cast of the upcoming 46th season of Survivor, and among the cast are two Massachusetts residents, Bhanu Gopal and Charlie Davis.

Bhanu Gopal, originally from Visakhapatnam, India, currently resides in Acton, Massachusetts, where he works as an IT quality analyst. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly (EW), Bhanu shared his love for dancing, swimming, and yoga and described himself as energetic, disciplined, and passionate. Bhanu explains, "My friends have often called me adaptable and independent because I’ve lived alone in many different cities. They also tell me I’m emotional both in how I express myself but also because of my great ability to listen and support my friends with what they’re going through. I’m always there for my friends." The accomplishment he is most proud of is becoming a citizen of the United States. Bhanu also explains that though some folks might mistake him for an extrovert, he considers himself an introvert, stating, "I’m very good at making first-time impressions, combined with my expressive social media presence, people often mistake me for an extrovert. However, I’m an introvert at heart."

Charlie Davis, who is originally from Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts is currently living in Boston and is attending law school. In his interview with EW, Charlie highlighted his enthusiasm for serious, competitive running, debating, and board games. He described himself as loyal, funny, fun-loving, and competitive. When asked about an accomplishment he's most proud of, Charlie explained, "Being elected varsity cross country captain twice. I was a walk-on, and in college, I injured my sacrum, right femur, left femur, and right tibia by running. But I used my other skills to turn the team into one of the best teams in the NCAA."

The upcoming season 46 of Survivor is set to premiere on February 28, 2024, at 8 pm ET/PT on CBS and Paramount+. The first two weeks will feature two-hour episodes before transitioning to the regular 90-minute runtime.

Entertainment Weekly had a first exclusive interview with the cast, which is where the information in this article is from. Fortunately, I will have the opportunity to interview Bhanu Gopal and Charlie Davis and I will be publishing an article before the season premiere on February 28, 2024.
