Ohio man arrested with suspected methamphetamine and cocaine during traffic stop
NOBLE COUNTY, Ohio — An Ohio man is facing several drug-related charges after a traffic stop yields 8.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine and cocaine. According to the Noble County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Baker conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by 40-year-old Jason Wilson of Marietta.
Body found in Muskingum River ID’d as New Philadelphia man
MARIETTA — Marietta police have released the identity of a man whose body was found in the Harmar area of Marietta on Tuesday. The body was found by a Marietta College crew team coach on the west bank of the Muskingum River off Gilman Avenue just south of the Washington Street Bridge between the bridge and the Marietta College Boathouse, Marietta Police Captain Ryan Huffman previously told the Times.

The Wood County Board of Education recently purchased 31.23 acres of land in Washington, W.Va. This property was purchased to build the new Lubeck Elementary School. This purchase was an extremely irresponsible financial decision by the Wood County Board of Education. The price for this piece of property was $755,000.
