HAZARD, KY. (WYMT) - Showers and a few rumbles of thunder are possible before the pattern becomes more scattered this afternoon. We’re off to a wet start with showers, some heavier bursts of rain and perhaps a few rumbles of thunder. This activity will become more scattered heading through the afternoon with some breaks of sunshine. High temperatures will range between 68° to 74°.
DENSE Fog Advisory in effect until 10am
HAZARD, KY. (WYMT) - Once the fog burns off, we’ll see lots of sunshine with a possible record tying high temperature Thursday. As expected, locally dense fog has developed early this Wednesday morning. This will burn off by mid-morning and we’ll see lots of sunshine the rest of the day. High temperatures will top out between 79° to 84°.

APPOMATTOX COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — A Spout Spring family is in mourning and trying to bring home their loved one after she was reported murdered in Ghana, Africa. According to the family of Norma Jean-Gilbert, the 61-year-old woman was living in a small village in Ghana doing humanitarian work for the community. Norma's sister Barbara Pennix told ABC13 Sunday that they found out from Ghana Police that she had been murdered at her own home.
