Two people hurt in Vernon County crash
TOWN OF FRANKLIN, Wis. (WEAU) - Two people are hurt after a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Franklin Saturday night. According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened on U.S. Highway 14 around 5:50 p.m. 38-year-old Brett Burkum of Viroqua was reportedly traveling North when his vehicle moved into the opposite lane, hitting a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Chloe Billington of Soldiers Grove. Both Billington and Burkum were hurt and taken to hospitals.
