Storms expected this weekend
The Lebanon area could be seeing some storm activity and flooding this weekend, according to the latest forecasts from the National Weather Service in Springfield. Warning Coordination Meteorologist Steve Runnels with the National Weather Service said thunderstorms will continue throughout the weekend. “The potential for severe weather is largely going to be in the western part oMissouri, maybe eastern Kansas going up to Kansas City Saturday,” Runnels said. Police arrest man accused of putting drugs inside body cavity
JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Police said a man who was arrested for driving with a suspended license tried to smuggle drugs by putting them in his rectum. Craighead County District Court Judge Tommy Fowler found probable cause on Wednesday, April 24, to charge 51-year-old Steven Ray Parnell, of Lebanon, Missouri, with possession of meth or cocaine, tampering with physical evidence, driving while license canceled, suspended, or revoked, and no proof of liability insurance.
