Meeting outlines ways of opposing Mid-States Corridor progress
Martin County resident Jason McCoy recently hosted a public meeting at Loogootee High School, advocating for residents to stand against the Mid-States Corridor. Road closure and lane restrictions planned for U.S. 231 in Dubois County
Huntingburg — The Indiana Department of Transportation announced a road closure and lane restrictions in Huntingburg. Beginning on or around Saturday, May 4, crews will close U.S. 231 between State Road 64 and 10th Street in Huntingburg. This closure will allow for the installation of a new drainage structure. Work is expected to take a day to complete, depending on the weather.

Girls on the Run of Southwest Indiana celebrated 10 years on Saturday with runs in Jasper and in Evansville. More than 242 participants from Dubois County and Spencer County took to the track for the celebratory 5k at Jasper Middle School, with 122 participants heading out for their 5k in Evansville at about the same time.
