5 homes, horses evacuated due to brush fire in Apache Junction
APACHE JUNCTION, AZ (AZFamily) — Homes and livestock have been evacuated in Apache Junction due to a brush fire that broke out on Tuesday afternoon. Police said the flames were burning in the desert north of McKellips Boulevard and east of Tomahawk Road and spreading northeast, the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said.
