NOTTAWA TWP. — A kindergarten student at Nottawa Community School is being remembered as a "bright, young girl," as the community mourns her death following an illness. Superintendent Jerome Wolff issued a statement Wednesday informing district residents of the unexpected death April 30 of Elaine Helmuth, 6. Elaine passed away surrounded by her parents, siblings and additional family.
