Police remove students from Palestine protest at Virginia Tech
BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - Virginia Tech Police started removing protesters from an on-campus protest Sunday night, saying the protesters are trespassing. The university used social media to urge the public to avoid the area of the Graduate Life Center, where police had been monitoring the protest, and late Sunday, removed several students from the protest.

The eighth edition of the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash — a year-long competition between Virginia and Virginia Tech that includes 24 matchups across 22 sports — was decided last weekend at the women’s golf ACC Championship as the Cavaliers shot 17 under the Hokies’ weekend finish of 873.
