WESTFIELD — Westfield biker Lee Mulligan has raised around $94,000 for cancer research in the past ten years. This year, he’s hoping to hit $100,000. Mulligan is raising money through the Pan-Mass Challenge, an August bike-athon that raises money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. There are multiple routes for bikers; Mulligan prefers the two-day, 180-mile-plus route from Sturbridge to Provincetown, though he said he sometimes starts the ride the day before with a trip from Canaan, New York, bringing the total number of miles over 300.
