Missouri Man Sentenced to 60 Months for Meth Distribution in Central Illinois
A Missouri man from Chillicothe, Scott Young, 37, was handed a 60-month prison sentence on April 25th for pushing meth in the Land of Lincoln. According to a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of Illinois, Young was busted distributing the narcotic on two separate occasions back in 2019.

Pekin woman dead after an industrial accident at Case IH in Goodfield
GOODFIELD, Ill. (WMBD) — A Pekin woman was pronounced dead Tuesday after being struck by a forklift, the Woodford County Coroner said on Wednesday. Lisa M. Hofmann, 40, was struck by the forklift shortly before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. She was pronounced dead at about 11 a.m. A preliminary autopsy indicated multiple blunt-force trauma injuries. Toxicology tests, as required, will be performed.
