NY state money to develop Plattsburgh infrastructure and housing
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) - New funding from New York’s state budget will help beef up housing and infrastructure in the town of Plattsburgh. More than $590 million is being set aside state wide for chips funding, which is a pot of money that’s used to repair roads. The allocation is an increase of about $60 million compared to last year. Town Supervisor Michael Cashman says it’ll help with paving projects. Also in the budget, more than $600 million for pro-housing communities.
