The Galesburg Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for a 19-year-old man accused of killing an 18-year-old on June 7. Police said that Chase Houlden, Jr. 19, had an arrest warrant issued against him on murder charges for his alleged role in the death of Cam'ron Glass, 18, at a home in the 900 block of East South Street in Galesburg. Two men lodged in McDonough County Jail after shooting incident on Friday in Macomb
MACOMB, Ill. — Two men were arrested Friday for their alleged involvement in a shooting incident. The Macomb/McDonough County 911 Center received a report at 10:56 a.m. Friday, June 7 of a shooting that occurred at 1501 E. Murray in Macomb. Patrol officers with the Macomb Police Department responded to the scene and found multiple subjects outside the residence. Officers detained two adult males and learned no one was injured from the shooting.

BRIMFIELD, Ill. (WMBD) — The Illinois Department of Transportation is reminding drivers of two bridge construction projects on Interstate-74 starting June 10. Peoria County and Knox County drivers will be affected. Specifically, County Highway 18 over I-74 about 8.5 miles west of Brimfield in Knox County on June 10 and Illinois 78 over I-74 about 4 miles west of Brimfield in Peoria County on June 17.

GALESBURG, Ill. (WMBD) — An 82-year-old Wataga woman is dead after a single-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in rural Knox County.
