Expect strong thunderstorms in Cayuga and Oswego counties until Tuesday afternoon
The National Weather Service issued a report at 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday for strong thunderstorms until 3:30 p.m. for Cayuga and Oswego counties. "Scattered thunderstorms will develop this afternoon ahead of a slow moving cold front. Some of the storms could be marginally strong with localized heavy rain and wind gusts to 45 mph. This low probability risk will end this evening," states the weather service.

Expect dense fog in Cayuga and Oswego counties Wednesday morning
A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Wednesday at 5:55 a.m. for dense fog until 8 a.m. for Cayuga and Oswego counties. "Areas of dense fog from the NYS Thruway north to Lake Ontario will continue early this morning, with reduction in visibility to a half a mile or less. Roadways that may be impacted by dense fog, but not limited to include Interstate 90, Interstate 190 and Route 104. Visibility can change quickly on roadways. If you are driving early this morning, slow down and be on alert for other motorists. Low visibility shortens the amount of time you have to react to situations," according to the weather service.
