Brown County investigates bomb threat to school, no threat to public
SLEEPY EYE, Minn. (KEYC) - The Brown County Sheriff’s Office says there’s no threat to the public in Sleepy Eye after receiving reports of a bomb threat Thursday morning. According to a press release, police say the Minnesota Fusion center reached out to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office about a bomb threat. In the release, police say a bomb threat was initially reported by a social platform to the F-B-I Threat Research and Analysis Team.
Elderly man dies in two vehicle crash
COTTONWOOD COUNTY, Minn. (KEYC) - A truck and SUV collided in Amboy Township resulting in one fatality around 10 a.m. Monday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Jerry Lee Evers of Comfrey, 81, was westbound on Highway 30 when his 2007 Chevrolet Silverado crashed into a southbound 2022 Nissan Rogue driven by Scott Bruce Burdorf of Mintevideo, 54, on Highway 71.
