SPC to host Summer Songwriting Showcase featuring Jake Worthington
LEVELLAND, Texas (PRESS RELEASE) - South Plains College’s Commercial Music Department will host the second-annual Summer Songwriting Showcase featuring singer and songwriter Jake Worthington. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. on June 22 at the Tom T. Hall Production Studio in the Creative Arts Building on the Levelland campus.

For this week’s Future of Ag, KLBK’s Kathryn Campbell sat down with a member of the South Plains College livestock judging team. The team found a lot of success throughout their 2023 and 2024 season. Team member Dakota David was recognized as high individual in San Antonio, at the Texas Braunvieh Field Day and was among the top 10 at the North American International Livestock Expo. Following his success while attending SPC, he plans to further his agricultural career at Texas Tech University while judging livestock there. Watch below:
