This advisory is in effect until 9 am, so take extra precautions when driving this morning. Following the fog, expect a few clouds, and temperatures will start the above average trend. Highs today will be in the low 80s, with partly cloudy skies. By tomorrow morning, partly cloudy skies continue, with lows in the upper 50s and highs in the mid 80s. By Wednesay, temperatures reach the upper 80s and breezy conditions return. Rain also increases Thursday night into Friday, with some thunder mixed into the rain.

Jackson soccer defeats rival Cape Central
Two insurance goals in the second half gave the Jackson Indians girls' soccer team a 3-0 over the Cape Central Tigers on Tuesday at Cape Central High School. Jackson outshot the Tigers 7-2 in the first half but had just one goal to show for it as the Cape Central goalkeeper, Piper Underwood, made four saves.
Nearly 1,400 to graduate from Southeast Mo. State on May 11
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Nearly 1,400 students will graduate from Southeast Missouri State University on Saturday, May 11. Commencement will be split into two ceremonies, one at 10 a.m. with the Harrison College of Business and Computing, Holland College of Arts and Media and the College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The second ceremony will be at 2 p.m. with the College of Education, Health and Human Studies and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
