Putnam grand jury indicts murder suspect
OTTAWA — A Putnam County grand jury on Wednesday returned murder charges against a Lima man charged with killing a woman during a shooting incident last week in Leipsic. Konner Dunklee, 26, was indicted on charges of aggravated murder in the shooting death of Farrah Croninger, 30, of Deshler. Croninger died April 18 when police say he entered Kitchen Enterprises Trucking Company in Leipsic and opened fire. Funeral services were Thursday.

Garrett Schroeder, 19, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to three counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, one a fourth-degree felony, the other two first-degree misdemeanors; illegal use of minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance, a fifth-degree felony; and menacing by stalking, a first-degree misdemeanor. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was scheduled for May 13. The fifth-degree felony charge was amended from a second-degree felony. Samantha Manson, 42, Grover Hill, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. She was granted drug treatment in lieu of conviction and placed under supervision for two years on condition she complete a treatment program at Westwood Behavioral Health Center. An indictment against Corbin Voirol, Continental, for possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony, was dismissed.
County Road 99 interchange project headlines construction season in northwest Ohio
FINDLAY — Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Director Jack Marchbanks, Ph.D., officially kicked off highway construction season last week in Findlay. Marchbanks met with the media for the kickoff event, held at the County Road 99 interchange with Interstate 75 in Findlay, where a project will begin this year to construct a diverging diamond interchange (DDI).

If two bones get separated, that’s a dislocation. “A dislocation of a joint is a ligamentous injury,” explained Bruce Heck, an orthopedic surgeon in Findlay. “It is basically a disruption of the ligaments around the joint, as opposed to a fracture, which is a disruption of the bone.” The most common places to experience a dislocated joint are the shoulder and fingers – the shoulder is a dynamic ball-and-socket joint, and each finger has three joints, Dr. Heck said.
