Mineral Point Pedestrian Dies after being Struck by Big Rig in Washington County
(Springtown) A man from Mineral Point was struck and killed Friday night just after 11 o’clock by a tractor-trailer in Washington County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 33-year-old John A. Laws was walking in the road on Highway 8, just west of ‘U’ Highway when he was struck by the big rig driven by 44-year-old Kenneth L. Lyons of Bonne Terre.
