Morgantown business owner charged after stealing federal broadband funds
MORGANTOWN, W.Va (WDTV) - The owner of Clearfiber Inc. has been charged with money laundering tonight. Clearfiber Inc. is an internet service provider in Monongalia County. According to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of West Virginia, Timothy Chad Henson, age 35 from Morgantown, and on behalf of Clearfiber, was awarded $1.96 million to bring high-speed internet service to Monongalia and Marion Counties.
