Injuries send woman to hospital after Highway 36 crash
A woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries Monday evening following an accident near Stewartsville, Missouri. Rikki Allman, 36, of Osborn was slowing to make a left turn on Highway 36 at State Highway J at about 5:15 p.m. That’s when a vehicle driven by James Farr, 39, of Stewartsville, rear-ended her, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
Driver avoids deer, crashes on Route C near Savannah
A Missouri man sustained minor injuries Tuesday night after his car veered off the road in an attempt to avoid a deer on Route C. At approximately 9:22 p.m. on April 30, 2024, Richard Stinson of Maryville was driving his 2004 Chevrolet Impala northbound when he encountered a deer. In an effort to avoid the animal, Stinson applied brakes and subsequently lost control of the vehicle. The car traveled off the east side of the roadway, striking an embankment and coming to rest facing northeast.
