MILILANI, Hawai'i (Island News) -- A bicyclist is in serious condition after being hit by a car on Kamehameha Highway in Mililani, Tuesday morning. It happened around 5:40 a.m. on the hgihway near Lehua Road.

Dustin Howell has been released from custody after he was arrested for kidnapping. According to police, he got into an argument with his girlfriend Sunday. The situation escalated when the suspect grabbed a knife, threatened the woman and keept her from leaving the room.
