Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in a Pataskala theft. The Pataskala Division of Police reports that between March 23-25, suspect(s) broke into a home in the 200 block of Gloria Road and stole multiple items, including jewelry, televisions, stereo equipment and tools. The stolen items are valued at more than $7,000.

This mammoth load, identified as a hex/cold box (air processor), weighs a staggering 378,400 pounds and boasts dimensions of nearly 19 feet and 3 inches in height, 20 feet in width, and spans an impressive 128 feet in length.
Five new members added to Fredericktown Hall of Honor

BUTLER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKEF) -- The Butler Township Police are currently looking for a critical missing person. 24-year-old Duquan Lee Hines and goes by “Quan” is six-feet, one-inch tall, weighs approximately 180 pounds. He has black hair in an afro, brown eyes, a short black beard, and glasses.
Knox County WW II vet returns home — after 80 years
LOCK — Wayne D. Crowl left his home in late 1940 to enter the Army Air Corps. The Lock veteran finally returned home for good on April 12, 2024. He will be interred in Lock Cemetery on Friday, April 26, at 11 a.m. The procession starts at the Crouse-Kauber funeral home in Johnstown. A color guard will meet at the cemetery.
Mount Vernon moves to repeal nuisance properties code
MOUNT VERNON — Monday night’s legislative action included a second reading of legislation that repeals the city’s chronic nuisance properties code. Council adopted Chapter 551 in 2019. However, after Law Director Rob Broeren, Police Chief Robert Morgan, and Councilman James Mahan reviewed the ordinance, they determined it was not enforceable.

Board of Trustees approves promotions for faculty members
The Board of Trustees held its spring 2024 meeting on April 11 and 12, coinciding with the inauguration of President Julie Kornfeld. Chaired by Aileen Hefferren ’88 H’12, the Board met in individual committees on April 11 before convening the next day for a full meeting, where it discussed the College’s strategic plan, reports from individual committee meetings, faculty tenure appointments and 2024 degree candidates.
