Man Shot on 6th Street Bridge in Downtown Los Angeles
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Apr. 27 (KNN) — A shooting victim was found down in a bike lane of the 6th Street Bridge late Friday night. The Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Division patrol units responded to reports of shots fired shortly after 11 p.m. in the area of 6th and Mateo streets.
Two-car crash leaves 1 dead after car crashes into West Adams home
An early Saturday morning two-vehicle car crash left one person dead and three others injured after one car slammed into a West Adams home and the other caught fire. Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters were called at 2:55 a.m. to W. Obama Blvd. and Sixth Avenue for a crash. One of the vehicles sheared a fire hydrant causing a geyser to shoot out, then crashed into the side of a home, and the other car caught on fire.One person, whose age and gender are not known at this time, died, and a 30-year-old woman, an 18-year-old man, and a 19-year-old woman were taken to a trauma center with unspecified injuries, according to the LAFD.
Man stabbed with knife in South LA after argument on bus
A man was stabbed several times with a knife Friday after an argument on a Metro bus turned to violence, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. It happened around 12:40 p.m. Police said multiple people got into some kind of argument on the bus, then exited near the intersection of Adams and Figueroa Way in South Los Angeles.
