IAWC again addresses Hardin water quality
A number of concerns continue to be shared on social media regarding the water quality in Hardin. The town’s water system was purchased more than a year ago by Illinois American Water Company. IAWC spokesman Terry Mackin tells The Big Z they are aware of the concerns and are following their plan to fix things.
Four people hospitalized after jumping from apartment fire in St. Peters
ST. PETERS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Four people are being treated at the hospital after jumping from an apartment fire in St. Peters, authorities say. The fire was at a single apartment unit at 15 DelRay Court. Authorities say the family, made up of two adults and two children, jumped from the second story of the apartment and were then transported to a nearby hospital. The injuries appear to be minor at this time, and are more related to smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is not yet known, although it originated out of the kitchen area.
