A recent plan approved by the Clovis Municipal School District Board on Tuesday will include closing one elementary school and consolidating and repurposing multiple other campuses during the 2024-2025 school year.
City of Clovis hosting Great American Cleanup this Saturday
CLOVIS, N.M. (KFDA) - The City of Clovis is participating in the Keep America Beautiful initiative with their Great American Cleanup this Saturday, April 27. The cleanup begins at 7:30 a.m. and includes trash pickup from 8 a.m. to noon. Participants will be assigned a cleanup route and are asked to take photos along the way to share on social media with the hashtag #KeepClovisBeautiful.

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Unseasonably cool temperatures will linger across the southern Plains for the remainder of our week and weekend. Morning lows will fall into the 30s and low 40s for the next several mornings. A light frost or freeze will be possible for areas along and northwest of highway 54 in the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles tonight where temperatures are expected to fall to 34-37 degrees in pockets where cloud cover is not present tonight. While frost is not guaranteed, it cannot be ruled out.
