PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Arizona Department of Public Safety has confirmed that one person is dead after an early morning crash in the West Valley. The initial two-vehicle, non-injury crash happened on the eastbound lanes of the freeway near Dysart Road around 2:45 a.m. According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, one of the drivers got out to check for damage when he was struck and killed by a third vehicle.
