Galion man sentenced following plea change on drug charges
A Galion man is heading to prison after pleading guilty to a drug-related charge during a change of plea hearing in Crawford County Common Pleas Court. Steven Conner, 30, pleaded guilty April 18 to one count of possession of drugs, a first-degree felon, and was sentenced to a minimum of eight years and a maximum of 12 years in prison. Two other drug-related charges − tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, and possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.

Two Mansfield churches have special musical performances planned for May 5. The St. Peter’s Music Series presentation of the BlueWater Chamber Orchestra will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday in St. Peter’s Church at 60 S. Mulberry St. in Mansfield. BlueWater Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Artistic Director Daniel Meyer, returns to St. Peter's with a program featuring world renowned guitarist Jason Vieaux as soloist. He will perform Vivaldi's "Guitar Concerto in D," as well as a new work for guitar and strings by Israeli composer Avner Dorman entitled "How to Love." Ending the program is Beethoven "Symphony No. 7."
