Hereford Medical Center looks to expand pediatric therapy center with federal grant
HEREFORD, Texas (KFDA) - Hereford Regional Medical Center has applied for a federal grant to expand its pediatric therapy center. “This expansion of our PT department is what we are requesting through this grant. We’ve identified a need within our patient population within this area and surrounding areas, while we’ve seen growth in that department,” said Candice Smith, CEO of Deaf Smith County Hospital District.

TxDOT to begin work on $1.63M project in Lubbock District’s 17 counties
LUBBOCK, Texas — The Texas Department of Transportation will begin a $1.63 million safety project installing reflective pavement markers (RPMs) to several roads across the Lubbock District’s 17-county service area: Bailey, Castro, Cochran, Crosby, Dawson, Gaines, Garza, Floyd, Hale, Hockley, Lamb, Lubbock, Lynn, Parmer, Swisher, Terry and Yoakum counties.
