One shot at YMCA in Coon Rapids
COON RAPIDS, Minn. — One person was transported to a hospital after being shot Friday night at a YMCA in Coon Rapids. Coon Rapids Police say they were called to the facility on the 8900 block of Springbrook Drive Northwest in a report of gunshots being fired. When officers arrived, they found one person who had been shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital where officials say their condition is unknown.
School district cuts budget by $1.25M
The Forest Lake Area School District will be cutting its 2025 operating budget by $1.25 million due to student enrollment continuing to decline. Law enforcement searching for missing 62-year-old man in Ramsey
RAMSEY, Minn. (FOX 9) - Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 62-year-old man who was last seen leaving his home in Ramsey nearly a week ago. The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office and Ramsey Police Department announced on Thursday they are looking for Robert Stelling, who was last spotted on Saturday, April 20. Later that evening, authorities found his vehicle in St. Francis near the 22900 block of Rum River Boulevard Northwest.
