Foley woman dies after crash in Baldwin County
BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) - A single-vehicle crash late Sunday afternoon in Baldwin County has claimed the life of a Foley woman. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said Cathleen C. Taylor, 50, died at a local hospital where she was transported for treatment of critical injuries she sustained in the crash.

Suspect arrested for trying to rob Gulf Shores Arby’s with bb gun just released from prison
MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - 23-year-old Preston Northan had been out of prison for a total of 8 days -- when Gulf Shores Police say he busted into the Arby’s Sunday afternoon and brandished a bb gun that resembled a semi-automatic pistol. Police say he first pointed the gun at an employee -- demanding money and their car keys. After the employee ran for help -- police say Northan ran outside and tried to rob two other people -- only to be arrested a short time later.
