Two animals are dead and four people displaced after a house fire Saturday afternoon in Peoria. According to the Peoria Fire Department, officials responded to a report of a fire in the 1800 block of S. Arago Street just after 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon. 11 cats and one dog were safely retrieved from the home and all given to PCAPS. One cat and one dog died in the fire.
