Pekin woman dead after an industrial accident at Case IH in Goodfield
GOODFIELD, Ill. (WMBD) — A Pekin woman was pronounced dead Tuesday after being struck by a forklift, the Woodford County Coroner said on Wednesday. Lisa M. Hofmann, 40, was struck by the forklift shortly before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. She was pronounced dead at about 11 a.m. A preliminary autopsy indicated multiple blunt-force trauma injuries. Toxicology tests, as required, will be performed.
Driver left in serious condition after car rollover
PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — One person was put on life support after their car rolled over into a ravine. According to the Peoria Fire Department, paramedics arrived on the scene of a car rollover on N. Gale Avenue around 8:00 p.m. on April 24, when they found a person outside their car in the bed of a creek.
