New major development coming to Berkeley County
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A new subdivision with 233 single-family homes will be coming to the area of Cainhoy Road and Clements Ferry Road. The Cainhoy Del Webb subdivision has had a bit of a hold-up because of wetlands and stormwater issues in the area. As the project enters phase two, developers are working the kinks out.

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) - Police are advising drivers to avoid a Summerville area road because of a car accident with an overturned vehicle. Summerville Police Department and Summerville Fire and Rescue are both asking that motorists avoid traveling on West Richardson Avenue between South Laurel and South Pine Streets as it is shut down.
