Cold front coming to San Angelo this week with cooler temps, rain chances
A cold front is coming to San Angelo later this week with rain chances after 90 degree temperatures, according to the National Weather Service. "Above-normal temperatures will continue for much of the work week, with rain chances and breezy winds returning late Tuesday," NWS said in a Facebook post. "A cold front is expected late Thursday into Friday, bringing cooler temps for Friday and the weekend." ...

Troubled Defendant Takes Plea Deal for Stealing & Crashing Semi-Truck
SAN ANGELO — A San Angelo man, David Conklin, 43, has admitted guilt following a harrowing incident involving a stolen semi-truck careening into power lines along North Bell Street. Conklin reached a plea agreement for Theft of Property between $30k and $150K stemming from the theft of a 1999 Peterbilt Semi Truck and subsequent crash on Bell St. Learn More Here.

Horrific Crash Closes FM 2105
SAN ANGELO, TX — A justice of the peace has arrived at a very nasty crash scene on FM 2105. The crash happened at 7 p.m. San Angelo Fire Department and the Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department have shut down FM 2105 near Grape Creek Rd. The crash is near the intersection of Oil Field Drive and FM 2105. Law enforcement said they believed the highway will be closed for a long period of time tonight. Learn More Here.
Duel of 2 F-250s Leads to Fatal Crash
SAN ANGELO, TX — The Texas DPS is investigating a crash on FM 2105 at the Oil Field Drive intersection. The location is one intersection east of the Grape Creek Road intersection when many crashes have occurred over the years.

Today we saw mostly sunny skies after an intense night of rain. Overall we got just over half an inch over at Mathis Field with a good soak across the entire region. Highs today topped out in the mid 80s for most of us with that wind out of the west around 5-15mph.

SAN ANGELO, Texas—Corrections Officers at the Tom Green County Jail report 16 individuals were booked since the last daily update on charges including making a Terroristic Threat, Stalking, and Evading Arrest. There are 449 inmates housed in the Tom Green County Jail presently.
CV PAWS Still Needs Help Processing Those 80 Dogs
SAN ANGELO, TX — We reported earlier that Concho Valley PAWS needed help managing approximately 80 dogs rescued from a single property. "We must refrain from judgment because our first interactions with the owners have indicated that this is not a cruel situation but rather a situation of good intentions that have gotten out of control," Concho Valley PAWS stated. “As PAWS begins to seek placement with local homes and rescue partners near and far, we need help from our community to keep these dogs safe and prevent them from being a burden on an already full shelter."
