Police find missing 16-year-old within hours in Grovetown
GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Grovetown Police Department has found a missing 16-year-old. Emmanuel Bowen, of Sierra Lane, was last seen at 7:10 a.m. on Friday. Around 9:30 p.m., officials say Bowen returned home and is safe.

Gun found at Hephzibah High School; school official's story does not match arrest warrant
Hephzibah High School parents have been made aware a gun was found on the campus, but the circumstances of the situation remain unclear. According to a statement released by the school, students were taking Georgia Milestone tests on Wednesday when a cell phone began ringing from the backpacks, which were together in one area of the classroom away from student access during testing. While an administrator searched the bags to locate the phone, a gun was found in a bookbag. That bookbag was searched and its owner was identified. The school says the Richmond County School System Police began an investigation and the incident was addressed in accordance with the student code of conduct.
