FORT DODGE, Iowa — A Fort Dodge man was accidentally shot in the chest Wednesday afternoon, according to the Fort Dodge Police Department. According to the FDPD, the gunshot and injury were reported to the Webster County Telecommunications Center shortly after 3:30 p.m. at the Biltwell Apartments, 106 N. 10th St. The caller indicated that a gun had been accidentally fired and a male in the residence had a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
