Pedestrian killed in hit and run in Winterville
A Grifton man was hit and killed by a driver who then left the scene on Monday on N.C. 11 near Davenport Farm Road, the Winterville Police Department reported. Marquez Outlaw, 32, of Grifton, was located by officers about 9:20 p.m., the department said. The time of the crash is unknown. At this time information is limited but the vehicle could be a Ford, the department said.
