Nicholasville Fire Department employee arrested for hit-and-run in Florida
VOLUSIA CO., Fl (WKYT) - A Nicholasville Fire Department employee and Lincoln County native was arrested in connection with a hit-and-run in Florida in mid-April. James Eric Lane, 37, of Hustonville, was booked on April 14 in Volusia County Florida, and charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injuries.

Lancaster building collapses with residents inside
According to Garrard County Emergency Management Agency (EMA), Lancaster City Fire and Rescue was dispatched in response to a reported Mutual Aid request in the area of Richmond Road, where it is reported that a two-story building partially collapsed with two residents inside.
