ND Paper purchases Billerud's Wisconsin Water Quality Center in Wisconsin Rapids
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – ND Paper will own Billerud’s Wisconsin Water Quality Center and landfill. According to a Tuesday morning news release from ND Paper, the company closed on an asset purchase agreement with Billerud Wisconsin that stated ND Paper will own and operate the Water Quality Center, associated landfill and landfill assets. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the facility operates at 2811 Fifth Ave. N. in Wisconsin Rapids.
Stevens Point to begin flushing water main lines next week
STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAW) - The City of Stevens Point Public Utilities will begin flushing water mains throughout the city starting on Monday, May 6. Public Utilities will begin the process at 8 p.m. and continue until 4 a.m. Tuesday morning. This will continue each night until completed through Friday morning on May 10.

Three local gymnasts prepare for national competition
